Frank Coyne, a native of Athenry, County Galway, and a licensed archaeologist, has over twenty years experience in archaeology. Frank formed ÆGIS ARCHAEOLOGY LIMITED in 1998 with Tracy Collins. He is the chairperson of the company and an executive director, overseeing all of the firm’s projects. He has excavated in a number of countries, including England, Wales and in the Middle East. Frank ran the southern field office of the South-West Kerry Archaeological Survey, for a number of years, based in Kenmare, County Kerry.
Currently studying for an MA in Conservation of the Historic Environment in the University of Birmingham. Recent Awards; Winner of the 2020 Donald Insall Award for Best Conservation and Management Plan.
