Graveyards & Historic Ironwork
Across our towns, cities, rural countryside, in historic houses, farms and graveyards, there is a vast undocumented, and probably little understood part of our heritage rusting away. With proper conservation this ironwork can be made viable for future generations to enjoy and appreciate. David Humphreys, director of Architectural Conservation Professionals talks on the importance of Historic Ironwork in our Graveyards at a presentation on the 24th of July 2013 at Ruan Community Centre, Co. Clare. With thanks to Rísteard Ua Cróinín, ACO, Clare Co. Council, Paul Conway & Joe Saunders, Clare Heritage Forum.
